Seasons of Growth

Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle … a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dreams.

Barbara Winkler

Whatever season of life, there is an opportunity to grow. Gathering together we will begin by claiming where we have come from, naming where we are today, and review the soil types we have encountered along our journey. We will consider what needs to be nurtured, watered, pruned, and identify the garden tools that will support your growth. Prayer practices, Spiritual Autobiography, Journaling, and small group conversations will support you as you seek to grow where you are in this season of life.

Permission to be ME

Knowing who you are and remembering Whose you are

As we seek to live abundant lives and to share what the world needs from us, we first must know who we are and take inventory of our gifts, passions, strengths, and values. As a community gathered, you will have the opportunity to support each other, to grow your skill of listening, and to review your life’s journey, remembering who and what experiences have shaped you and reflecting on where God was in the midst of your life. There will be time for discernment of what God is inviting you to as you enter your next chapter, as well as opportunities for coaching conversations as you seek to uncover next steps. Our tools will be Prayer Practices, Dependable Strengths, Values Exercise, and Spiritual Autobiography.

Retreats can be designed to address needs for teams, organizations, staffs, congregations, and synods.
